Crossing the Greenland ice cap: Clare O’Leary and Mike O’Shea tell their story

Earlier this June 15 Mike O’Shea and Clare O’Leary became the first Irish team to cross the Greenland ice cap with dogs and skis, outracing an epic approaching storm to complete their mission. The expedition was part of the pair’s ongoing Ice Project. Catherine Murphy catches up with the duo to find out what makes them tick, how they learned to cope with the dogs on their trip and their somewhat climate change sceptic views.
