Getting fit doesn’t always need to mean slogging it out in the gym. One of the best fitness motivators and ways to test and enjoy your developing strength is to sign up for an event – and to tell everyone you are doing it. We've come up with 10 brilliant events to get you going as part of the Centra Restart 21-day Challenge. #LiveWell

Events are brilliant to remind you to keep up the training, by acting as both a carrot and a stick. And even if you haven’t trained as much as you would like to achieve a top performance personally, on the day of the event itself, you’ll be helped keep going by the crowd and the supporters. And as a bonus, after the event, you’ll have pushed yourself longer and harder than normal and given your fitness a huge boost.

This content is brought to you in association with the Centra Restart 21-day Challenge to help you to get fitter, healthier and happier. This month's training tips focus on building strength, so have a look at Pat Divilly's recommendations to boost your strength. You can also share your efforts with the Centra Restart 21-day Challenge using #LiveWell and you could win a prize!
