Outsider is going skiing from 18-25 March 2017 and we want you, our readers, to join us. This will be no ordinary ski trip though. There will be four very special on piste guided ski tours in the Dolomiti Superski region to thrill and test you!

You’ll be taken on the Sella Ronda ski tour around the Sella Massif, which is described as one of the most spectacular ski areas in the world. You’ll traverse the Val Gardena, Alta Badia, Arabba and Val Di Fassa without taking your skis off. The tour will take you clockwise one day and then anticlockwise on another. You need to be a solid intermediate skier to do this tour.

If you prefer more hardcore skiing, there’s the more demanding La Grande Guerra two-day tour, which will visit the scenes of many battles from World War I. These include the world famous Col Di Lana and the Hidden Valley between Lagazuoi and Armentarola. You’ll be skiing between famous mountain peaks like Civetta, Tofana and Marmolada. You need to be a good intermediate skier to join this tour mostly because of the distance.

Amongst the many highlights of this tour is the final flat section where you are pulled by horses across the snow to Armentarola!

A ski level of intermediate/advanced is required for each of the Grande Guerra Tour days and a high intermediate level for the Sella Ronda routes.

We will be staying in Val Di Fassa in the Dolomiti Superski region, which is world renowned for its beauty and top-class facilities. It has 12 skiing areas and 1200km of slopes, centred around the iconic Marmolada Glacier (3300m).

The trip costs €999 which includes return flights, transfers, accommodation in a three-star hotel, a six-day lift pass, baggage allowance and four guided ski tours. Optional extras are ski hire (€50), boot hire (€20), helmet hire (€10) and insurance (€30). Email outsider@topflight.ie if you want to join us or ring Topflight on (01) 240 1753 and ask for Deirdre or Ilaria.
