Following the opening of its new Lahinch store, Irish-owned family run outdoor retailer Portwest now has four shops open around the country.
The company’s flagship store is located in Dublin on Suffolk Street just over a year ago. There are two other stores Westport and one on High Street in Galway.
Catering for those involved in practically every type of outdoor and adventure activity, Portwest stocks their own brand items as well as brands like Roxy, Billabong, Rip Curl, Animal, O’Neill, Alder, Quicksilver, Bic, Hurley, Orca, Helly Hansen, Berghaus, Columbia, Mammut, Gelert, Gill, Didriksons, Ice Peak, Trespass, Hi Tech, Skins, and Protest.
The shop in Lahinch is a specialist surf store stocking Portwest wetsuits along with brands like O’Neill, Animal, Quiksilver and Rip Curl. There is also a range of clearance surfwear. Tshirts cost from €10, shorts from €10 and wetsuits from €29.95.
Managing director Owen Hughes stated, “Portwest strives to deliver quality brands at affordable prices. We stock our own branded wetsuits which start at €28.95 for kids and €64.95 for adults. All of our stores has a clearance section which offers up to 70% off normal retails prices.”
Portwest also recently launched a members club offering substantial discounts across its full range of products.
