Manager wanted for new outdoor store in Dublin
The Role
- To communicate with customers and deliver the concept to the public in a fun and exciting way
- Merchandising and display of products.
- To ensure customers enjoy experiencing the store
- Recruitment and training and developing sales staff to a high standard
- To ensure that you and your staff keep up to date with outdoor industry and product changes and are proficient in explaining the products to customers.
- To ensure the smooth running of the operations of the store
- Monitor budgets and all controllable store costs.
- Analyse and react to stock reports.
- Liaising on new products, marketing and event promotion
Requirement
- 2-3 years Outdoor retail management experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent training and development skills
- Experience in dealing with sales team of 5+ people
- Strong understanding of both retail and outdoor industry
- A proven sales track record
- Knowledge of Internet based sales – not vital but an advantage
The person
- Passion for hiking, climbing and general outdoor activities
- Innovative, Energetic and Driven
- Good communication skills
- Good sales and commercial skills.
Package
- €35,000 – 40,000 depending on experience
