Sunway offers Thailand sailing adventures

Sunway has launched sailing trips in Thailand as part of its adventure holiday offering. The company’s catamaran tours aim to provide a convenient, affordable way to explore the most desirable, inaccessible islands and beaches in the Andaman Sea around Phuket.

This is a chance to explore amazing islands like Koh Phi Phi, Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Koh Yao Noi Island and Bay Nai Harn, as well as some which are virtually off the radar! Expect idyllic days spent snorkelling, swimming or wandering pristine sands.

You can choose from seven-day sailing cruises or hop on for as little as four days. You can even add a northern Thailand adventure to your sailing trip too.

For these trips, Sunway partners with Gap Adventures, a company which is renowned for offering innovative marine programs in the Galapagos and Greece. Your home while at sea will be a swanky 37-foot sailing catamaran. You’ll be able to learn the ropes of how to sail, if interested, but the skipper will do the work most of the time, to allow you to enjoy the sea, surf and scenery. Each trip is limited to eight people so you’ll have ample space inside and out for lounging, eating and drinking.

Prices vary but to give an idea a 15-day trip costs from €1,639pp (excluding flights). Highlights of this trip include: Bangkok canal tour to Wat Po, ancient capital of Sukhothai, Lampang’s elephants, mysteries of Chiang Rai, Golden Triangle, Mae Sai, historical Chiang Mai and seven days sailing the stunning southern Thai islands.
