The first, aptly named Surf Clare is an overview of the surfing industry in Clare. It gives a great insight into its origins, its growth and the economic benefits of the industry to our country’s ailing economy.

The second, Wave of Consequences looks at the giant waves that can be found on the Clare coast and the surfers who ride them. The surfers in question include Fergal Smith, John McCarthy and Mickey Smith.

Each documentary contains interesting interviews, music and narration. You will be transported out onto the waves with the surfers. Perfect inspiration and/or distraction if you are currently sitting behind your desk dreaming of perfect waves on the West coast!!

Top Irish big wave surfer and star of the Waveriders movie, Richie Fitzgerald will run exclusive surfing boot camps this summer for both men and women. These intensive weekends will include: 3 x surf sessions; 1 x surf theory class with video analysis; 1 x beach run and beach surf warm up; 1 x yoga class; 1 x fitness workout; 2 x nights B&B; 2 x healthy lunches and 1 x healthy dinner.
