The date has been set for the inaugural Motivate Challenge 2010 which will take place at Punchestown Racecourse and is being run in conjunction with the Avon Ri Lakeshore Resort.
Comprising kayaking, running and cycling, this race will take place on 11 September 2010. Two entry categories – Motivate 25° (25km) and Motivate 65° (65km) – will mean the event appeals to both elite and novice athletes. Both courses will begin at the state-of-the-art Punchestown Racecourse facility that is also host to Ireland’s leading Event Centre. From here, competitors will run through the Kildare countryside to the Avon Ri Lakeshore Resort in Blessington, Co Wicklow, where they will kayak across the Blessington Lakes.
