The Enniscorthy Strawberry Festival Half Marathon is taking place on Sunday 27th June 2010 at 10am. This new event promises to be the premier road race in the sunny south east year this year. Part of the County Wexford Strawberry Festival and Enniscorthy 1500 Celebrations. This half marathon promises a great course,great prizes and even better craic.
The first mile of the course is through the historic Enniscorthy town centre before heading out into the pastoral County Wexford countryside in all its summer glory.
All entrants receive a technical tee-shirt, Strawberry Half marathon mug,
Goody bag and free tea and sandwiches in the Riverside Park Hotel. First Prize for male and female is €1000 each with prizes for the first 10 in open category and prizes in all veteran categories. The total prize fund is €6000.
