Want to make your end of season interesting? Why not try Erris’ Blacksod Point Challenge on Saturday the 18th of September. Take in the scenic beauty, whilst testing your endurance on a course that is now being accepted as having one of the toughest run courses in the country.
Carved by nature and bottled by Kilmore Triathlon Club this course allows all athletes to test their limits.
This Olympic distance course combines a fantastic sea swim in the Atlantic with a smooth transition on to a fast bike course. The run course offers a combination of grass, sand and tarred surfaces with breath taking views of surrounding coastal terrain.
The Blacksod Point Challenge may be situated amongst tranquil rural beauty but this race is an Animal with teeth capable of testing any competitor! For more info click here
