Fitness is not a prerequisite for the Killarney Santa run on 11 December. You can run, walk or crawl the 5-mile route as long as you’re dressed as Santa and have a good sense of humour to boot. It is the perfect way to get in the festive mood and will make you feel a little less guilty about what will inevitably be a month of utter indulgence!
Registration costs just €4 for under-18s/€15 for adults and includes a T-shirt, Santa hat and medal. Scott’s Courtyard will provide finger food and entertainment for all competitors after the race. There will be spot prizes for the best dressed Santas and Santa’s little helpers.
