OC Tuning, Ireland’s only authorised Fox racing Shox service and warranty centre, is now offering unlimited servicing on Fox forks and rear shocks for 12 months. The annual cost for this servicing is €150 for forks or shocks and €250 for both – a fraction of what it would cost to replace either item. If you’re from outside Dublin, OC Tuning will cover the cost of returning your equipment by post to you.
With this offer the team in OC Tuning will give your shocks a full service (this will renew your annual warranty if the shocks were bought in 2011) and will maintain them for the year at no additional charge. You will also get the benefit of the OC Tuning specialist racing team’s experience at events throughout the year where they will ensure that your shocks are properly set up for the track/event.
OC Tuning’s James O’Carroll has 15 years of experience racing on the world cup circuit so is in a great position to offer this service. He states, “Cross-country riders are recommended to get their forks serviced every 100 hours while it is recommended that downhill shocks, which take more abuse, should be serviced every 30 hours. The benefits of a properly serviced shock absorber are instantaneous. They give you better feedback through the handlebars and more confidence in your bike’s abilities to negotiate difficult terrain.”
You will also get the benefit of the OC Tuning specialist race support at selected biking events throughout the year. O’Carroll will make sure that your suspension is set correctly for the course.
